Components That Make for Great Sound<\/b><\/h3>\n

The T2 comes equipped with a pre-installed Sumiko Rainier MM cartridge, handcrafted in Japan. It accurately reproduces instruments and vocals, while the diamond stylus ensures a clean, balanced, and musical sound. If desired, the stylus can later be upgraded to a higher-end model from the Sumiko Oyster series.<\/span><\/p>\n

The massive drum made of tempered glass provides weight and stability and dampens unwanted resonances. It is complemented by a longer, one-piece 9\u2033 aluminum tonearm with an integrated cartridge and a precision, low-friction bearing. A new spring-loaded anti-skate mechanism simplifies setup and improves the stylus\u2019s performance. The chassis is constructed without plastic parts or hollow cavities to prevent unnecessary internal vibrations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Connects to your audio system<\/b><\/h3>\n

The T2 is designed to be connected to an amplifier with a phono input or a separate phono preamp. This allows you to choose a phono preamp that suits your audio system and needs. If you want to connect your turntable directly to powered speakers or an amplifier without a phono input, you should choose the T2 Super Phono version with a built-in phono preamp.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each T2 is hand-assembled at the Pro-Ject factory in Europe. A hardened steel spindle in a bronze bushing ensures smooth rotation, while vibration-damping feet help reduce vibrations transmitted from the environment. The set also includes an acrylic dust cover and high-quality phono cables specially designed for Pro-Ject.<\/span><\/p>\n
