At the time when the Iron Curtain fell, the first ships from Western Europe docked in Klaipėda. No one could have imagined that along with those free people would come a completely new, unknown musical culture. It was the first city in our country to taste what was then called electronic rave music. It is therefore not surprising that the most iconic Lithuanian electronic music band of the 1990s was born in the port city of Klaipėda. Yes, we are talking about EXEM. The first release from Lizdas Records is yet another tribute to our past. In vinyl format, we will re-release the two-part album ATLANTA, released in 1996, by EXEM. If it wasn't for EXEM and their legendary tracks, which were also in the mainstream media back in the day, it's likely that today's Lithuanian electronic music scene would be quite different. Just like ourselves.
