ABOUT THE REPLACEMENT STYLUS

Restore your cartridge in seconds

The Ortofon Stylus CC MKII Digital is the genuine replacement stylus for the Concorde MKII Digital cartridge. When your stylus wears out, there is no need to buy a whole new cartridge – simply pull off the old stylus and click on the new one. No tools, no realignment, no downtime.

Designed for a perfect fit

The replacement stylus offers tactile feedback when seating, so you can feel the snug, secure fit the moment it clicks into place. A cut-out area at the front gives you a clear view of the needle, allowing far more accurate needle drops during cueing and live performance.

Built for timecode vinyl, renewed

This stylus restores the Digital cartridge’s frequency-optimized response for clean DVS decoding on Serato and Traktor, plus the strong 10 mV output that keeps tracking rock-solid on control records.

Genuine Ortofon quality

Only a genuine Ortofon stylus restores your cartridge to its exact original specifications. Ortofon recommends replacing the stylus after approximately 800-1000 playing hours to keep both your sound and your records in top condition.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know when to replace my stylus? Typical signs are duller sound, increased distortion, sibilance or skipping. As a rule of thumb, replace the stylus after roughly 800-1000 playing hours.

Is it hard to install? No – pull the old stylus off the cartridge body and click the new one on. The tactile seating feedback confirms a secure fit. No tools or alignment needed.

Will it fix my DVS decoding errors? If errors appeared gradually as your old stylus aged, very likely yes – a worn stylus is the most common cause of degraded timecode reading.

Will a worn stylus damage my records? Yes – a worn diamond gradually wears down the groove walls. Replacing the stylus on time protects both your sound quality and your vinyl collection.
