Vinyl is the new digital

ABOUT THE CARTRIDGE

Built for digital vinyl systems

The Ortofon Concorde MKII Digital is purpose-designed for DVS setups running timecode vinyl. Frequencies between 1 and 2 kHz are optimized for analog-to-digital decoding, which minimizes reading errors and extends the life of your control records – whether you play on Serato, Traktor or another DVS platform.

Just click it on and start playing

With the integrated-headshell Concorde design there is no alignment, no screws and no wiring. The cartridge twists straight onto any standard S-shaped tonearm with a bayonet (SME) connector and comes with its stylus factory-fitted.

Strong signal, stable tracking

A high 10 mV output delivers a robust, consistent signal for confident decoding, while the spherical stylus and 4 g tracking force keep the needle locked in the groove through aggressive cueing and scratching. It also plays traditional vinyl with good, balanced sound – so one cartridge covers your whole workflow.

Who is the Concorde MKII Digital for?

DJs who play primarily with timecode vinyl and want maximum decoding reliability plus longer control-record life. If your sets run through Serato or Traktor, this is the cartridge built for the job.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it work with Serato and Traktor? Yes. The Digital is optimized for the decoding frequencies used by both major DVS platforms and works reliably with either.

Can it also play normal records? Yes. While tuned for timecode vinyl, it plays traditional records with good, balanced sound.

Why is the recommended tracking force 4 g? The higher force keeps the stylus securely in the groove during heavy cueing and scratching on control vinyl, reducing skips and decoding errors.

Can I replace the stylus? Yes – swap it in seconds with a new Stylus CC MKII Digital, no tools required.
