Concorde MKII Elite

A limitless experience

The Ortofon Concorde MKII Elite is the flagship of the Concorde line—a premium moving-magnet cartridge that delivers a level of sound quality never before seen in DJ-grade cartridges. It brings true Hi-Fi performance to the iconic click-on Concorde format.

Hi-Fi diamond in a gold-plated case

At its heart sits a Nude Elliptical diamond—a stylus type normally reserved for Hi-Fi cartridges—mounted on a rigid 750 µm aluminum-magnesium cantilever developed exclusively for the Elite. Its slim profile follows groove oscillations with exceptional accuracy, extracting intricate details and tracking even the highest frequencies. The specially molded body features real gold plating.

Engineered down to the last detail

A newly formulated rubber suspension ensures superior tracking and a richer, fuller sound with carefully damped brightness, while a specially developed coil system delivers a powerful 8.5 mV output. The result: a warm tone, wide dynamic range, and an energetic soundstage that reviewers have compared to Ortofon’s acclaimed 2M Bronze and Black HiFi models.

Who is the Concorde MKII Elite designed for?

DJs who are just as much listeners as they are performers—studio playback, broadcasting, sophisticated club sets, and digitizing vinyl collections. Note: The high-quality Nude Elliptical stylus is designed for listening, not for heavy back-cueing or scratching.
