About the turntable

The Technics SL-1300G is a top-of-the-line turntable designed for those who appreciate precise analog playback, stable rotation, and a meticulously engineered design. It is a model from the “Grand Class” series that combines advanced drive technology, a robust build, and a precision tonearm.

The turntable features a direct-drive system and a brushless motor, which help ensure stable record rotation. The ΔΣ-Drive technology developed by Technics further dampens motor vibrations and enables smoother and more precise rotation.

Great attention has been paid to vibration control. The turntable platter consists of three layers: aluminum, brass, and a damping rubber layer. The housing also features a two-layer construction, and special silicone isolators help reduce the impact of external vibrations.

The SL-1300G comes equipped with an S-shaped static-balanced tonearm. Its effective length is 230 mm, and both the tonearm height and the stylus tracking force are adjustable. The set also includes additional counterweights, allowing for the use of cartridges of different weights.

The record player plays at speeds of 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm. It takes just 0.7 seconds to reach 33 1/3 rpm, and the electronic brake allows the record to be stopped precisely. The speed variation is as low as 0.025 % W.R.M.S.

The Technics SL-1300G is designed for high-end Hi-Fi systems. The turntable features a PHONO output and a ground terminal. It does not have a built-in phono preamp, so it must be connected to an amplifier with a PHONO input or used with a separate phono preamp.
